What I did this week 20-26 of September 2008

Saturday is a day to sleep in and wake up when you are no longer tired...Too bad my mind wanted to wake up because I was excited about the visitors we would be having! Saturday morning I woke up too early if you ask me but it was alright because I had to get up a little earlier then normal to go to Damien's house for a ward breakfast (there was only Dad, Damien's family, two Serles, six missionaries and I). I had some yummy coco pops (and no I am not three I just like coco pops) and then I got to play with "The Best Pilkington Family" minus Damien. Natasha and I walked with all her children to the park, where we played for a good while (Jeremiah came as well) Then we walked all the way back to Natasha's house where Tam picked me up to go get our hair done =D Forever and a bit later after Tams hair was coloured I got my hair cut YAY!! Tamera and I then went to the shops for a bit and then came back to my place to switch over cars. Then Tamera and I looked at ourselves in the mirror for a very long time (because we are cool like that) And now for the moment we had been waiting for...We drove to the airport to pick Bryan, Amy and MICHAEL up!!!!! I knew it was them because they had a really cool looking child with them! We then drove to Charlies for dinner and I think I must have been dazed because I didn't really notice anything about the cleanliness or food quality =SAfter Charlies we Mum, Dad, Bryan, Amy, Michael and I all came home where we talked and played with Michael for a little while. Then all us sleepy heads went to bed!Sunday wasn't as exciting but I still woke up early..hmm why was that? O yea it was because Bryan sent a little boy in to wake me up (I think Bryan was bored)..I spent ages in my room with Michael and Bryan playing with my monkeys and talking. Then Amy, Bryan and Michael left so I was bored.. I got ready and went to church. We took Jeremiah to church and he fell asleep in my arms just before sacrament finished so instead of going to Sunday school I sat in the foyer with him in Anabelle's pram and Anabelle with me =D Anabelle was so cute all day first it was during Sacrament when she was crying so I took her for Natasha and sort of whispered the Womble song in her ear with her face smooshed against mine. She kept slipping as she was falling asleep but would sit up and grizzle til I started the song again. Natasha ended up taking her out. Then in Relief Society she was doing the same thing while i sang the womble song, it was so cute that i kept giggling until finally she gave in and actually fell asleep. I got to cuddle her all through Relief Society (pure gold) She woke up and was happy to just be held while I conducted the last song (PS I am really bad at it)!Monday was an awesome day because I got to sleep in and play with Michael all day!
We had a fun time play with his Giraffe
Looking out the window
Taking Pictures
Michael took this one (top work)
Playing with Tia Sarah's phone
And just being cool =P

Tuesday was work placement another exciting day!!! The children were fun and exciting as normal and I helped Ronnie clean out the store room. Tuesday night was pretty average didn't do much at all.

Wednesday morning I got to play with Michael for a while before they wen't to the city. Wednesday night Bryan asked me to make him spaghetti so me being the greatest sister in the world I made it =P Then lucky me got to babysit Michael he ate his spaghetti and then we went upstairs to watch 'Riverdance' Michael loved it and we had a fun time making suprised faces at each other (he is so cute) I put Michael to bed and eventually i hit the sack aswell.

Thursday was work placement which I spent in the baby room. It was pretty boring in there (the children are such a let down after playing with Michael) They were pretty boring 0-2yr olds. They didn't talk much if at all and they didn't even play that much! At 3:00 I changed from student to worker and got to go outside and play with the older children plus schoolies. I was a bit freaked out about what some of the 8-9yr old boys were talking about and what kindof movies they have seen (PS Rory if I catch you talking about what they were talking about you will be in big trouble!!!=P) After Child Care I walked until mum picked me up came home and didn't really do much. I waited til Bryan and Amy got home so I could say goodbye and see Michael. He wasn't very happy though, tired and possibly sick! But all in all he was still gorgeous!

Today has been a pretty relaxing/boring/sad day. I find myself quite sad that Michael (and possibly Bryan and Amy) have gone. The house is once again quiet and the days uneventful.

Well that is all so far this week. It was much more exciting then it sounds!

Signing off then

I got one too!

Yes I am also joining in on the blogging thing!

This week has been pretty fun and exciting! (for me anyway you might not think so)

Sunday was my first day at preparing and leading the music for Relief Society =) First I had to conduct which was interesting, as I am not all that great (basically I just waved my arm around and made it look like I knew what I was doing). And then I ran music appreciation where I told the story of how a rubber duck had been found on the beach, after several months in the water. On the duck was a message written by some girls to their father who had passed away a few months before. They had said that the duck being found so many months later, on Fathers Day was like he was telling them that he was still watching over them. And I thought how when Grandpa had died the Sunday after was general conference and 'O My Father' was played it was his favourite hymn and it was like his message to us. So I played 'O My Father'. A lot of people said how they enjoyed it so i was pretty happy with my first go.

On Monday Ruth brought Jeremiah around to play with me while she went to the dentist and Natasha also came over to do some scrap booking so I had my hands a little full with Charlie and Jeremiah and the cheeky things they get up too. Juliet was good and just played with dolls. Anabelle was cute as always and I got to cuddle her and put her to sleep for a little bit. We had the missionaries over for dinner. It was just mum and I at home as dad was on a trip. So we had a nice little dinner and chat with the missionaries. Then I got to relax a little bit before bed :)

Tuesday was a rough day because of work placement at child care and because of the weather the children were kept inside and were all a little crazy! Days like this is why I think child care workers are hard to find :S But it had its good moments as Tuesdays is when Jake and Benjamin are there. Jake is really cute and I think every ones favourite and Benjamin has been labelled as 'Sarah's Little Shadow'! He follows me around a lot and we talk about Scooby Doo (his favourite thing in the world). He is a little bit hard to understand but I understand enough to know that I am now Velma and he is Shaggy... =) I walked home and just chilled at home till around 6:30 when I babysat Rory, Isiah, Juliet and Charles (aka the children in "The Best Pilkington Family" minus Anabelle) Damien drove me home and I watched mum give herself an injection :S and then went to bed!
**Another thing that happened on Tuesday was I was asked if I could go on the relief list for the Child Care Center! So that was pretty exciting and it will give me even more experience as a child care worker!

Wednesday was a day full of cleaning (so nothing exciting).. Dad also came home and lucky me he brought pizza (sorry Mum)

Thursday was a much better day at child care as we could go outside and the children weren't so crazy. Bree the special needs child was there which I enjoy because she is as happy as can be! Even though she has bitten and pinched me she is a pretty awesome girl! All the kids like to play with me and a few like to tell me I am cool (I love it). We played outside for most of the day and had races and the children all chased me around. It is pretty hard running away from 15 children when they are coming from all directions. I went to the Chiropractors and then mum dropped me off at the shops and I met up with Natasha. I bought everyone an ice block and we went in the very cool bus to pick Juliet and Charlie up from child care. The point of all this was that I took all the children besides Anabelle to the playground near Ruth's house. Where we played for a while. Then Ruth and Jeremiah went home and Rory, Isiah, Juliet, Charles and I walked back to their home. And then I walked home, had dinner and went out again with Natasha Mum and Anabelle to a Relief Society activity on chocolate of all things (I don't like chocolate and mum isn't allowed chocolate). But it was a nice evening and once again I got to play with Anabelle! Anabelle and I had a fun time laughing, talking and a little singing on my part =)

Today is Friday and I have cleaned and cleaned and now I am writing a blog!
I am looking forward to tomorrow when Amy Bryan and Michael are coming for a visit!
I am pretty sure that is all! It is a pretty long blog so you don't have to read it all ( just kidding of course you have to read it all!)
