Yes I am also joining in on the blogging thing!
This week has been pretty fun and exciting! (for me anyway you might not think so)
Sunday was my first day at preparing and leading the music for Relief Society =) First I had to conduct which was interesting, as I am not all that great (basically I just waved my arm around and made it look like I knew what I was doing). And then I ran music appreciation where I told the story of how a rubber duck had been found on the beach, after several months in the water. On the duck was a message written by some girls to their father who had passed away a few months before. They had said that the duck being found so many months later, on Fathers Day was like he was telling them that he was still watching over them. And I thought how when Grandpa had died the Sunday after was general conference and 'O My Father' was played it was his favourite hymn and it was like his message to us. So I played 'O My Father'. A lot of people said how they enjoyed it so i was pretty happy with my first go.
On Monday Ruth brought Jeremiah around to play with me while she went to the dentist and Natasha also came over to do some scrap booking so I had my hands a little full with Charlie and Jeremiah and the cheeky things they get up too. Juliet was good and just played with dolls. Anabelle was cute as always and I got to cuddle her and put her to sleep for a little bit. We had the missionaries over for dinner. It was just mum and I at home as dad was on a trip. So we had a nice little dinner and chat with the missionaries. Then I got to relax a little bit before bed :)
Tuesday was a rough day because of work placement at child care and because of the weather the children were kept inside and were all a little crazy! Days like this is why I think child care workers are hard to find :S But it had its good moments as Tuesdays is when Jake and Benjamin are there. Jake is really cute and I think every ones favourite and Benjamin has been labelled as 'Sarah's Little Shadow'! He follows me around a lot and we talk about Scooby Doo (his favourite thing in the world). He is a little bit hard to understand but I understand enough to know that I am now Velma and he is Shaggy... =) I walked home and just chilled at home till around 6:30 when I babysat Rory, Isiah, Juliet and Charles (aka the children in "The Best Pilkington Family" minus Anabelle) Damien drove me home and I watched mum give herself an injection :S and then went to bed!
**Another thing that happened on Tuesday was I was asked if I could go on the relief list for the Child Care Center! So that was pretty exciting and it will give me even more experience as a child care worker!
Wednesday was a day full of cleaning (so nothing exciting).. Dad also came home and lucky me he brought pizza (sorry Mum)
Thursday was a much better day at child care as we could go outside and the children weren't so crazy. Bree the special needs child was there which I enjoy because she is as happy as can be! Even though she has bitten and pinched me she is a pretty awesome girl! All the kids like to play with me and a few like to tell me I am cool (I love it). We played outside for most of the day and had races and the children all chased me around. It is pretty hard running away from 15 children when they are coming from all directions. I went to the Chiropractors and then mum dropped me off at the shops and I met up with Natasha. I bought everyone an ice block and we went in the very cool bus to pick Juliet and Charlie up from child care. The point of all this was that I took all the children besides Anabelle to the playground near Ruth's house. Where we played for a while. Then Ruth and Jeremiah went home and Rory, Isiah, Juliet, Charles and I walked back to their home. And then I walked home, had dinner and went out again with Natasha Mum and Anabelle to a Relief Society activity on chocolate of all things (I don't like chocolate and mum isn't allowed chocolate). But it was a nice evening and once again I got to play with Anabelle! Anabelle and I had a fun time laughing, talking and a little singing on my part =)
Today is Friday and I have cleaned and cleaned and now I am writing a blog!
I am looking forward to tomorrow when Amy Bryan and Michael are coming for a visit!
I am pretty sure that is all! It is a pretty long blog so you don't have to read it all ( just kidding of course you have to read it all!)
