10th-19th of October

Well this week has been pretty much all child care. I am almost finished all my work placement its exciting but sad. No more will I get to go to child care and not have too change nappies =P.

Friday 10th- I worked 5 hours and have no clue what I did for the rest of it =S.

Saturday 11th- Saturday morning was relaxed and I didn't do anything exciting but at 12:30ish Damien rang up and asked if I could help watch their children, while they laid lawn. So being the kind sister I am I went down to Damien's and helped all afternoon. I was a pretty good lawn layer and I had skills in watering the lawn (well except when the hose kept flying off the sprayer and getting everyone wet [sorry about your bottom Natasha =S]) I was pretty wet and the boys were as well it was so refreshing in the heat. At around 6 Natasha took me home because Ruth was over for dinner so I had dinner then went back to Damien's house too help some more. Natasha and I stayed up pretty late talking. I got home pretty late but it was a nice chat that we had.

Sunday 12th- Today we had General Conference, which was pretty good. Charlie sat with me for most of it (that kid is sooooo cute) Sunday afternoon was spent relaxing and then Damien, Natasha and Family came over for dinner. We had a nice dinner for Natasha's Birthday and then we had desert out on the deck. The children went inside to watch a church movie and we stayed outside chatting til they went home.

Monday 13th - Friday 17th - From 8am to 2pm I was at child care everyday this week. I haven't got long to go before the work placement is done. The highlights of these days were...."Operating" on Briana (which involved me picking up various toys and while she laid on her back, pretending that I was operating with them)...Making up about 10 stories on the spot for the 6-8 children who wanted them...only having school kids there for a part of the morning...and...Bella calling me cool heaps =P.

on Tuesday 14th- I walked from child care to Natasha's house and then from Natasha's to the boys school and then back. And then I walked again from my house with the smartest person in the world (who locked her keys in the car when she drove over to go for a walk together) to her house and then back to mine. I had a great time and we talked and I was silly (like usual) for most of the time.

on Wednesday 15th- I walked from Child Care to the boys school once again to pick them up and then I walked them back to Natasha's and then I walked home. Tam came over and Dad brought home Pizza (yummo).

on Thursday 16th- We went shopping and to the chiropractors.

Friday 17th- I did part of my visiting teaching =) and had a fun night.

Saturday 18th- I worked super hard today!!!!!! At 8am Dad woke me up because we were going to do a Mormon Helping Hands thingo, we went to Para Wira(?I think that is how it is spelt) We spent a few hours killing some weeds called boneseed. They were in massive clumps and were pretty big, so we had to cut it then put blue killing stuff on the stump. It was pretty tough work and I kept getting dizzy from bending over and standing to quickly. It was combined Playford and Paralowie ward, there was a good group from Playford ward but our ward had a whole of three people plus 6 missionaries. Not very impressed :l. Dad and I got home around 1 and I was sort of dozing until I had to get ready for a Relief Society Dinner/Broadcast. The evening was alright.

Today is Sunday and I am just about to get ready for Church I have prepared my music for today (and I am praying I don't have to conduct the hymns).

Well that about it...

This is Sarah Pilkington saying don't eat your hat!
love you all xoxox
